Enabling EBS Integration

Lynx Fleet integrates with Schmitz CargoBull (SCB) to bring trailer data, including EBS data, into our platform. To use integration with SCB, you will need to enable the data push to Lynx Fleet on the SCB Trailer Connect platform. For more information on the Lynx Fleet Integration with SCB and how to set it up, please see SCB Integration.

EBS Information in Asset Tracking

If your organization has EBS enabled, you can see EBS alerts in the TPMS/EBS column in Asset Tracking.

  • A red EBS icon if there are issues.

  • A green checkmark icon if there are no EBS or TPMS issues

  • No icon if there is no EBS or TPMS data

If you hover over the EBS icon, additional information will be shown. Click on the View Details link to go to the Trailer tab on the Asset Details screen.

Asset Details: EBS Summary

The Trailer tab on Asset Details contains a EBS Summary section for users with access.

The left portion of the summary displays the date and time when the EBS data was last updated. If there are currently EBS alerts, a red message will be displayed. If there are no current EBS alerts, a green checkmark will be displayed.

The right portion of this display includes data points related to the braking system.

  • Axle Load

  • Brake Lining

  • Velocity
