The Lynx Fleet Remote Intelliset feature allows you to control the temperature and other settings of your assets remotely through the Lynx platform. With Intelliset, your organization can select a wide range of refrigeration parameters for individual commodities and lock them into a single setting that drivers can easily select by name. Remote Intelliset allows your team to view which Intelliset is currently active for a compartment and change which Intelliset is active.
Remote Intelliset can help you eliminate claims caused by operator error, and optimize fuel consumption of refrigeration units. You can help your organization achieve its sustainability goals by utilizing Intelliset to manage compartments.
This guide walks through how to use Remote Intelliset in Lynx Fleet to help you better manage your fleet operations.

Intelliset File
To use the remote Intelliset feature, you will need to create an Intelliset file using Carrier TRU-Tech. Only Carrier employees and Service Partners can use TRU-tech. Contact your Carrier support team member for assistance with creating and uploading the Intelliset file.
The Intelliset file created needs to use the exact same model number as the targeted TRU. This file will define your various Intellisets, for example which temperature and run mode "STRAWBERRIES" should use.
The Intelliset file must then be uploaded to FOTA WEB.
Accessing Remote Intelliset
Remote Intelliset is available as a command on the 2-way commands screen in Lynx Fleet. This screen can be access from several places. See Two Way Commands and Command History for more details on how to access the 2-way Commands screen.
Using the Remote Intelliset Command
Remote Intelliset is considered an Advanced Command. If you have access, an Advanced Commands section will display below the Basic Commands section on the 2-Way Commands screen.
The left portion of the screen shows details about your asset's current settings. The right portion of the screens lets you adjust those settings via two-way commands.
If the asset is a model that supports Remote Intelliset, an intelliset command option will show for each enabled compartment.
If the refrigeration unit is off, you can't issue 2-way commands, and a red message banner will appear.
Note: Depending upon the settings in your Intelliset file, if the compartment has an Intelliset value other than Standard Intelliset, you won't be able to send a setpoint command until the compartment is first returned to Standard Intelliset.
If the asset is in Sleep mode, you can send the Remote Intelliset command to the asset and the Intelliset will be applied once the asset exits sleep mode.
Intelliset Commands in Command History
The "Command History" tab records the two-way commands including Remote Intelliset that were submitted. Here, you will see a sortable list of commands with an adjustable date range.
For Intelliset-related commands, the Command Name column will contain a value of Get Active Intelliset ID or Set Active Intelliset. For the Set Active Intelliset command, the Value column will show which compartment and which Intelliset.
The status column indicates whether the command was successful, failed, or is still pending execution. If the status is Failed, the Response column will indicate the reason for the failure. Lynx Fleet will not attempt to resend failed commands automatically.
Remote Intelliset by API
Lynx Fleet's APIs allow you to issue two-way commands including Remote Intelliset. On the API portal, you will see a tile for the 2-way command. Click this tile to access additional documentation about the 2-way command API or to try out this API.
There are 3 API paths in the 2-way command API:
get-commands - gets a list of supported commands for an asset
send-commands - sends a 2-way command to an asset
check-command-status - checks the status of a 2-way command that was sent to an asset
Sending Commands
The send-commands API is used to send a command to an asset. To send an Intelliset-related command you will need:
Asset ID
Command of:
GetActiveIntellisetID - gets active Intelliset ID
SetActiveIntelliset - Set active Intelliset for specified compartment
