What are Geofences?

Geofences are used to detect whether an asset is entering or exiting a certain location, which helps managers and drivers coordinate deliveries.

Feature Details

Geofences can be created using the Asset Tracking map by enabling the geofence layer, selecting the polygon or circle icon, and drawing an area. You can create, edit, and delete geofences and geofence groups.

Geofences and geofence groups may be used as parameters for setting up notifications and creating reports when combined with other conditions.

  • Reports - Create a geofence dwell time report

  • Search - Find assets inside or outside of a geofence
