Select the Device Management icon in the left navigation panel to go to the Device Management page. This page lists all of the devices that have been added to Lynx Fleet.

Adding & Importing Devices

Lynx Fleet offers several ways to add or import devices into the application. Some of these actions are only available to Tier 2 Support Team members.

Click the Add/Install Devices button to begin adding devices.

Bulk Import Devices

Teltonika manufactures Lynx Fleet devices and sends them to the factory to install on Standard Fit units. The factory then sends a spreadsheet with the details about the devices to the Carrier Transicold / Lynx Fleet support team.

The first step of commissioning a device/asset is to add the device to Lynx Fleet. The Bulk Import Devices action allows the Tier 2 Support Team to import an Excel sheet of devices (such as the one sent from the factory) to create these devices in Lynx Fleet.

Each row in the imported sheet will result in a device created in Lynx Fleet.

Single Device

If you need to add a single device rather than importing multiple devices, you can use the Single Device action. Enter the required information and click Create Device.

Associate Device with TRU

This action is used by Tier 2 Support and allows them to associate Devices with TRUs via an Excel upload. After this action, the devices will have a commissioning status of "Installed".

Bulk Commission Devices

This action allows you to quickly add assets to Lynx Fleet. This is the action that is used to import "Units under BluEdge" assets.

Assets created with this action are not fully commissioned since they don't have compartment and sensors configured. To properly use one of these assets for demo or customer purposes, you will need to first go into the commissioning screen this device to finish the configuration.
